History: The Shiba Inu is one of Japan’s oldest and smallest native dog breeds, developed for hunting in rugged, mountainous terrain. Their agility, sharp senses, and bold spirit made them excellent small-game hunters. Today, Shibas are cherished around the world for their fox-like look, strong personality, and loyal bond with the people they trust.
